Mike and Charisse Hatfield
of rural Greentop,
Missouri started 4x4 truck pulling in 2001 with a 1972 Chevy they called
"Lemon Peeler". This truck was bright yellow and
very street stock. Charisse and Mike would drive it to town about twice a
week and pull it on the weekends for the first couple of years. After
several drive shafts, rear ends, axels and clutches they decided to sell the
Lemon Peeler before they destroyed it. In 2007 the original "Gold
DIGGER" truck was acquired and they ran it that season in black primer. The old
Chevy was pulled from a fence row where it was retired 20 plus years prior. Mike painted
the "Gold DIGGER" in 2008 the beautiful colors it runs today with the help of an
airbrush artist creating the graphic scheme. Please visit the photos page to

In 2007 they finished third in ProStock 4x4 Trucks Class A and tied in Class B with the IAMO Pullers points. Charisse received the IAMO Pullers Member of the Year in 2007. In 2008 they received second in points with IAMO Pullers ProStock 4x4 Trucks Class A and B. This year was a rough year with two engine failures but with the new engine running strong they were able to pull out the third place points championship in the IAMO Pullers Pro Stock 4x4 Trucks for 2009.
Prior to truck pulling Mike was an avid drag racer since 1987. Mike started out with a 1965 Chevy two door wagon called "Temporary Insanity". This wagon was once owned by his father who also was an avid drag racer for many years. In 1995 the transmission went out of the drag car and it has been parked since. In 1996 Mike started racing ProStock Drag Bikes. He ran the ProStar series for a couple of years always on a Kawasaki. Mike was a Kawasaki Dealer from 1991 until 2003 when he sold out and joined his parents in their autobody business.
At the 2009 Iowa-Missouri Truck & Tractor Pullers Banquet, Mike was named the "Puller of the Year" and the "Member of the Year". Mike is the Vice Chairperson of IAMO Pullers ProStock 4x4 for 2009 and Charisse is the Treasurer of IAMO Pullers .
He is the 14 year old son of Mike
and Charisse. Cameron will be driving his 1994 S-10 Chevy
mini 2WD in 2010. In his spare time Cameron enjoys riding
his Kawasaki 400, hunting, playing football, baseball and basketball.

She is the 12 year old daughter of
Mike and Charisse. Holly enjoys running the merchandise
booth for IAMO Pullers and taking pictures or videos. In her
spare time Holly enjoys competition dancing, playing softball, basketball and cheerleading.
